For the past five years, we at British Beds Worldwide have had a policy of showing "typical" prices on our website. Such "typical" prices not only included UK VAT and sometimes delivery to your bedroom in western France (but nowhere else), but also carried with them a fairly complicated caveat about such things as minimum order values and location. This pricing policy was based on the fact that most of our customers lived in the EU and bought their beds for their own homes.

The growth of British Beds in France through British Beds in Europe to British Beds Worldwide now means that we have customers all around the World, buying not only for their homes but for their guest houses and hotels, too. From Victoria in British Columbia to the west to Victoria in Australia to the east and all points in between, we have proudly helped people sleep on the British bed of their dreams. We are also able to show ranges on this site which you can't find elsewhere on the internet. That's because with a few exceptions we don't normally supply and deliver in the UK. (The exceptions are: either you are simultaneously buying for your home abroad, or you can not obtain the product you require from a UK stockist within 100 miles, or you are going to take the goods abroad yourself).

So, we have now re-priced our website to reflect the fact that for most of the World, where most of our customers live or run their businesses, prices need to exclude VAT. If you are buying for your home in the EU, you will need to add UK VAT, but if you are buying for your business and you have a valid EU VAT number, the prices shown are what you will pay for the product.

Naturally, delivery costs must also be added, but we will still be happy to give you a discount based on the value of your order.

The best news of all is that not only have we re-priced to VAT-exclusive prices, but we have also cut our prices across the board so that you, our valued customers will benefit. All prices shown are NET product prices either for export outside the EU or for EU VAT-registered customers. UK VAT must be added for private (i.e. EU VAT non-registered) customers within the EU. Delivery is not included. For full details click on your destination country.
